Tile drainage has been proven to work in the midwest for years, but when it comes to south of the Mason-Dixon line, it's a pretty rare thing to see tile drainage.  Matt Miles took the plunge in 2021 and installed a tile drainage system on his southeast Arkansas farm.  It equalized all his ground and he is able to farm his sharkey clay at the same time as his sandy fields. Matt talks about efficiencies gained and plans for utilizing his new drain tile as a potential irrigation source for his rice fields.
