Kelly had success with his new closing wheel system last year in his corn trials, so this year he is taking a cue from Kevin Matthews and installing a 2x2 application on his soybean planter. He hopes that by delivering nutrients at planting through a 2x2, instead of through a foliar, he will see an improved yield response in his beans.
