00:00:00 Johnny Rell the extreme Ag. I'm out here in the wheat field today. You know, we're getting ready to do a, 00:00:04 a trial, I guess you could say. We're getting ready to do a competition. You know, agri Liquid's got this competition thing going 00:00:09 with all the extreme ag guys and you know, they, they were sitting there thinking, you know, nobody's ever done wheat. 00:00:14 So I told 'em I'd try the wheat and see how we can do and you know, we pulled soil test already on this field. Uh, we sent them off 00:00:21 and I'm gonna be partnered with Rob with Agri Liquid. Kelly's gonna be partnered with Miss Stephanie and Galen's gonna be partnered with Temple 00:00:28 and I'm pretty sure Galen's going to have the, uh, upper hand in the deal. 'cause you know, temple always says 00:00:32 he's the best wheat grower in the group. So we're gonna see how he does on this deal. We're here in West Tennessee. 00:00:37 We just got, uh, about 12 to 14 inches of rain about in the last week on this wheat here. So overall it looks really good. 00:00:45 The flag leaf's starting to come out in the next few days. It'll be fully, uh, fully emerged out of it. 00:00:50 And so we're getting ready to do a, a late season fertility plot out here. We're gonna see what we can do with it. 00:00:54 And, you know, it's gonna be a, a very good learning process for me 'cause we've always kind 00:00:59 of treated our wheat one standard way all the way across. We've pulled tissue samples in the past, 00:01:03 but if we get something low, we just kind of treat everything that way. This, this way. Here, we've already came out 00:01:07 and we pulled some tissue samples and the strips where we're gonna do each plot and then we're gonna sit there and apply the products 00:01:13 that every group came up with. We're gonna see who's gonna get the best response on top of the best response on the tissue sampling. 00:01:19 It's all gonna come down to the ROI at the end who makes the most bushels and had the less product going into it. 00:01:24 And we had a, we had a budget in place, I believe it was a $30 budget. We're all gonna try to stay under that $30. 00:01:29 Some of us were a lot less than $30. Some of was closer to that. And it's gonna come down who could put the most 00:01:33 bushels on it looks like to me. So we'll see how this goes. You know, maybe, maybe, uh, me 00:01:38 or Kelly will pull ahead a temp on this and see what's going on. You know, I'm sure Kelly, 00:01:42 I think this is some awesome looking wheat for some forage. You know, he'd be all about raising some cows out here 00:01:46 and the cows graze this all winter. But, you know, we don't do that right here. And so far, this week's, uh, made it through a hailstorm 00:01:53 or two and like I said, about 14 inches rain over about a four day period. So it looks great. We'll see what happens. 00:01:59 And you know, I'm gonna say next week we're gonna be putting out some applications on this to see what we can do 68 00:02:03.085 --> 00:02:03.725
