00:00:00 Todd Kimbrel in Texas with Tommy Roach from Nature's from Texas, from Texas out here looking at our corn. 00:00:07 We ran some nature's in furrow this year. Uh, we got a plot in this field behind us right here. Tell me why we ran. 00:00:14 So he'd been running a mixture of poly with ortho and at pretty high rate. So I kind of did, uh, same thing I'm doing with a lot of 00:00:25 other uh, extreme ag guys. We did first down, for our base of our infer starter, then we added micros, which is crop max. 00:00:34 Then we added rising link P, which helps in phosphate utilization. Then I got add a little sulfur to it. Corn looks great. 00:00:44 We were just sitting here talking about is it gonna run outta juice, is it not? Based on, you know, 85 degrees, 00:00:52 two week forecast looking good, moisture looking good. I think he may have a problem on his hand. We were just sitting here talking about it. Too much corn. 00:01:03 It's a bad problem to have. Kinda like Matt said, uh, a lack of parking at church. Bad problem to have. 00:01:09 No, it's a good, it's a good problem, but it's still a problem. Uh, That's right. There's 00:01:14 ways to deal with it with, uh, how to fill out something like this. Because even though, 00:01:20 even though we're sitting here at roaster stage and we're counting pretty much 40 kernels long, you got a little tip on here. 00:01:28 What do we gotta do to fill all those kernels? And he is, he is got a couple of historical problems. One being he's fixing to hit a magnesium block 00:01:41 and we're gonna put some foliar magnesium on here. Magnesium acetate in every situation. Doesn't matter if you're in Texas or Iowa or North Carolina. 00:01:52 You gotta have zinc. You gotta have potassium boron to fill these kernels. So we're probably gonna make a mix of all that. 00:02:02 Apply a little, little strip here and see if we can't get this to more bushels. Oh, I like it. And you know, like magnesium, 00:02:12 we've never ran any form of liquid mag magnesium since I've been doing this and I'm pretty excited about trying it. 00:02:18 See, see what the results are. But I always thought we had a magnesium issue and I don't know. 00:02:24 I'm excited to see how it comes out. Temple's gonna love this 'cause he's a magnesium guy. 00:02:30.635 --> 00:02:31.615
