00:00:00 Bringing you ideas that can help you make money for your farming operation. You know, the guy started extreme ag almost five years ago. 00:00:05 One of their commitments was to help you improve your farming operation and bring more money in the door. Let's face it, farming is a business. 00:00:13 We're a commodity classic with Brian Strider and Temple Road. We're talking about a soil stewardship program 00:00:17 that you are now piloting, uh, I'm sorry. You pilot it and you're starting it in 2025. What is the Soil Stewardship Program with organics? 00:00:24 How is it gonna help you make money? And then I want you to fill in what he does. So basically, for me, I look at it like this. 00:00:30 So you have to start with something. So with this new program, you sign up for the program and you start to build the soil with, you know, 00:00:37 this whole organic program. So when you start to put this out there, it's no different than when we're growing a crop. 00:00:43 Right? When we grow the crop, we're building from the roots up and we're gonna build the roots. 00:00:47 We're gonna follow it through its whole rotation, and then we're gonna get all the way out. And then we sell a product. Same concept. 00:00:53 We gotta build the soil and then we're gonna sequester more carbon as we go. The more carbon that we build in the soil with this program 00:01:00 and using these products, the more that we have to sell 'em in. It's no different. It is another commodity 00:01:06 that we're leaving out on the table that we don't even know that we have. This is why this program has started. 00:01:10 Brian, how does one go about doing this? Obviously, you've gotta use the products. Absolutely. You have to use a product. Yes. 00:01:17 It's a half gallon acre use on a product for, and What product am I using? We're using Wholeganics. 00:01:22 We're using the 800 plus in the spring, and then the 800 breakdown in the fall. Okay. And with that being said, what we do is, 00:01:29 is we help build that soil health. We run it the spring and fall application. But to his point, what we do is, is 00:01:36 as we're building those roots in the system and we're building that carbon, what our product does is it actually helps build 00:01:42 that bio layer Yeah. In the soil. Right? Right. And it actually actually helps our biology grow, which helps our organic matter grow. 00:01:50 Yeah. Which actually builds more carbon. So it's good for the ground. You would do this anyway, 00:01:54 but then there's a bonus on the thing. Now, is that gonna be affected by some of this potential legislation that might not be legislation? 00:02:00 We're talk about 45 Z has nothing to do with that. Okay. This is a, this is a different program 00:02:05 where it's all taken care of in house. We're not doing this and selling it to USDA or anything else. 00:02:11 There's nobody else out there. They're using this in-house to enhance soil, to enhance our carbon sequestration, get rid of it for us. 00:02:19 You know, they're selling the carbon for us. It, everything is in-house here. What do you expect to, what do you 00:02:23 expect your numbers to look like? Can you say, I really don't know what to expect on our numbers look like. 00:02:28 Like they, when they first come out and they gotta take our first samples, they're trying to build a delta of where we are now. 00:02:34 Yep. And then we're gonna start applying the product first with the breakdown product. 00:02:38 Which, you know, we know in our stove that we have a tremendous amount of fertility in it. This not only helps build carbon in our soil 00:02:45 and make our soil healthier, we're breaking down the stove that's already out there, 00:02:49 and we can get a tremendous amount of phosphorus and potassium into our next crop. This is a longer term play for a really, 00:02:57 really healthy soil. The Cool part about our program, Damien, is that we measure it. 00:03:02 We can actually go into the ground and measure the carbon that we are sequestering. Yeah. It's always seemed a little 00:03:06 arbitrary to some of the other programs. Like, well, you know, I'm putting a ton in. Well, how do you know? 00:03:10 We measure it. And that's how we do it. It goes to a lab. Yep. We burn it off when we measure the carbon. Yep. 00:03:15 Whereas a lot of the people are saying, well, if you do this, if you do that, then we think this is what, it's an algorithm. 00:03:20 Yep. Ours is not an algorithm. Right. It's a measure method. A lot of 'em have like a, just a check the box system. 00:03:24 Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. Do you do no till check? Yeah. Do you do cover crop check? 00:03:28 And I do remember we were organics and they had a mobile lab, and we were at Kelly Garrett's Field Day a year and a half ago. 00:03:33 And we actually went through and, and did some, and they showed the, the, uh, I shall you say, the analysis tools. 00:03:38 They did that to management. All right. So you recommend this or you're gonna gimme another year and then you're gonna recommend this. 00:03:43 Absolutely. I think that the, that every year that goes by, we've already have it in my program now. 00:03:49 Yep. I've already been using Hope Gangs. We saw the benefits of it. Yep. This just builds on a program and it gets better as we go. 00:03:56 Got it. If I wanna learn more about it, a person viewing this at home wants to learn more about it, what do they do? 00:04:01 Get on the website. Look at Organics. 800 plus, get ahold of us on the website. We're in 10 states. We have people around. 00:04:08 Give us a call. Alright. holganix.com. organics.com. organic.com. He's Brian Strader. He is Temple Roads. I'm Damien Mason coming at you with ways 00:04:15 that you can add more to your bottom line and improve your soil health.
