00:00:00
Hey guys, it's Temple from Extreme Ag. Let's just talk about what's next. Um, our next thing
00:00:04
that we're gonna be doing out here in the field, all of us across the country is, is we're getting ready to put down some type of a chemistry program.
00:00:10
Whether it's no-till and we're burning it down or whether it's gonna be a conventional program. So that's kind of what's next for us.
00:00:18
I mean, usually we're burning off a cover crop. You know, when I say burn down, that's kind of what we're doing.
00:00:23
Uh, we might put a little residual out there. We might have to change our program if we're going into no-till.
00:00:28
But, um, a lot of our no-till practices we're, what we're going and what we're thinking about is, is we're gonna add in a biological, um, out here for us,
00:00:37
and we're gonna try to get some of the nutrients that are in this stove back into the soil this year. That's one of the things we're putting out there.
00:00:44
Um, we're also adding a soil conditioner. The one that we're using is called Liquid Ripper, and it adds to the PO of soil.
00:00:50
And what we found last year, you can go back and you can look at some videos that we, that Alexander and I did, where it actually made the
00:00:57
soil a lot more mellow. And we're hoping that that takes the place of us doing some deep rip.
00:01:02
Um, you know, we do a lot of deep ripping out here, especially on our irrigated ground, and we're trying to get some air in that ground.
00:01:07
Seems like our irrigated soils, um, tend to get really, really tight. And again, and, and a lot
00:01:13
of our no-till soils the same thing. So we're gonna be adding those products to our no-Till program.
00:01:18
So if there's anything I can help you out with, please give us a call. 00:01:22.335 --> 00:01:23.325
