This is my favorite time is planter time. 00:00:05 Well, I kinda like harvest time too, but I really like to run the planter and I like, I like planter time. 00:00:10 So we're gonna go over the planter and look just a minute. You know, I know this thing's kind of filthy, 00:00:14 but at this point in the game it's uh, we played it somewhere around a thousand acres with this thing and just kinda give y'all a good 00:00:21 look at what we're doing. You know, I always enjoy the videos that people put out or watching things on back in the day when we was watching 00:00:28 corn warriors or other things, you know, and I always like to see how other people have done stuff. I'm gonna give you a shot at my planter right now. 00:00:34 These two by two attachments are from Temple Road over at Chestnut of Farms. 00:00:38 We have tried all sorts of UBA two and by far, you know, we don't like people's like, oh, I don't wanna put it on top of the ground. 00:00:45 Well, you ain't pulled enough wrenches on other parts. So, you know, we've had tub or two that come in here. We've had tub by two that come in here. 00:00:52 We've had tub by two that was up here, had tub or two back here. So this for me works for our farm 00:00:59 and that's what I like about it is simple. We had maybe one stop up. First thousand acres we pulled no wrenches on it. 00:01:06 You know, you kind of, kind of keep your hoses tied up. But other than that, it works. And that's what we're after. We're after something that's simple. 00:01:13 Plant acres and go, go at it. The next piece of this is our infer. We do have infer on here 00:01:20 and um, this year with prices like they are, we're not gonna use a lot of infer, especially on our dry land acres. 00:01:26 We're gonna go with a PAE that you've seen around, you know, and we're gonna go with that route for most acres. 00:01:31 Now on our irrigated acres, we will put in maybe doesn't splash a, in maybe a little bit more neutral charge, 00:01:37 maybe some added phosphorus, you know, our infra acres. We will get on tap with the, uh, infer. Obviously we run a high speed planter. 00:01:43 We like it the exact emerge planter for the capabilities of being able to plant it a little higher speeds when ground 00:01:49 conditions allow no, when ground conditions allow, you can speed it up, but it's still all about the ride y'all. 00:01:57 But this meter, when you get 'em ironed out and you get everything flowing good, this is still, I think, one of the best meters and the best systems that we have. 00:02:05 Again, this is just a little bit about our plant.
