Hey y'all This's Chad Henderson with Extreme Ag and here we go. Let's talk about these concaves.
00:04
You know, we've been playing with these concaves at Brian and Eson, but we've been trying to,
00:09
trying to tweak these things up. Always looking for horsepower. We're always looking for better flow.
00:13
We're always looking for more speed and and that's what these guys just keep improving 'em. So we've had to xpr twos in these machines.
00:20
We have three John Deere machines running, one with OEMs in them, one with XPR twos in them. And this one has XPR threes in them.
00:27
And Brown's like, Chad, why don't you just put another set of X Ps in the other machine
00:30
and said, no, Brian, I wanna keep that OEM here where we know what we're doing. We're always comparing back to it.
00:35
So don't think that we're just putting these concaves in all these machines. We're not testing 'em 'cause we just keep testing on it.
00:41
And what that guide us is to the XPR threes. So you might wanna look at that front concave. I ain't gonna give all their secrets away.
00:48
They gonna want y'all to come see 'em on it. The front concave is the key. They might have put some more gap in it,
00:53
which allows more horsepower. They might have put some more gap in it, which also allows better grain quality.
00:59
It's gonna let that grain flow and it's going to do a better job. Right There might have pitched the ball angle.
01:04
So look, I give you some hints, that's all I'm gonna give you. The first concave is the key to it.
01:09
And the next thing is, you know, is now they prided their self on the fact that the SV XP twos, you didn't change concaves anymore.
01:17
You know, they would send them with covers and you put covers in, but you wouldn't change 'em. And that's what really sold us on 'em,
01:23
not putting these things in and out for wheat or beans or corn, you know, and not making these changes with these, they don't even send covers anymore.
01:30
So get ready. You think you like the other ones once you put'em in. That's for the life of that machine, you know, in essence.
01:36
But that's what the key was. They wanted the folks not have to put a cover in, be a all round, versatile, concave.
01:42
And that's what they succeeded on. I can't wait to put this thing in the cornfield. Thank you.
