00:00:00 Our spray tech trial that we had at our field day at Cool Me. I hope you all was. Some of you guys 00:00:04 and ladies was able to attend the field day. We had a great turnout. Uh, nice day, cool weather. One thing I want to talk about here is the season we had 00:00:15 and the plan in place. We typically do a lot of verigation on this farm 'cause it's drip irrigation. 00:00:21 We did zero fertigation this year. We only irrigated about 10 times the whole season, which is rare 'cause normally you don't ever cut it off on 00:00:30 this farm you're running all the time. The soils is pretty good shape air. We've done a lot of work on the farm over the years 00:00:36 and we use a lot of poultry litter on it and it does real good no-till. The one thing at population is that, uh, 34,000 00:00:47 is where we're at at planting and uh, we was about a 33, 33 plus on our final. Had really good emergence, excellent conditions at planting. 00:00:59 Our grower standard is using uh, the products We normally use a lot of quart per acre items. Some stuff a gallon per acre, 00:01:09 but it's just what we use on our farm and our grower standard that we've been proven. The one thing about spray tech is it's a low use rate. 00:01:17 A lot of stuff is only four ounces per acre, six to eight ounces per acre, extremely low use rate. And you kind of question, you know, is it, 00:01:25 is this really going to make a difference? Well, this is pretty cool side by side. There's only two bushels difference, 00:01:32 but here's what I want you to understand about it. That's two bushels. That's net dollars because we didn't spend any more on this 00:01:40 than we did our regular program. The spin was pretty much the same. This did have impulse corn on it, which is a product 00:01:48 that's growing on me. I really like the impulse soy and I'm beginning to light the impulse corn more. I want one more year's worth of data on it, 00:01:56 but I've been pretty impressed with what I'm seeing. These ears are pretty daggone, nice ears. It is very consistent. 00:02:03 My grower standard, I had a little bit of deviation in there. 300 bush of corn's damn good in my opinion. 00:02:09 I don't care where you grow corn at. Um, and this is nothing fancy. This ain't trying to win A-N-C-G-A or anything. 00:02:17 This is your field day corn. This is where you get to come out and you get to walk through the fields, you get 00:02:22 to look at it and then we harvest the data and this is what it is. We picked 24 rows 00:02:28 and we measured the weight on the 24 rows of the grower standard. And this is the 24 rows directly beside the grower standard. 00:02:36 And to ensure that we had the right products in there, we moved over into the field and planted one pass and then come back and planted a pass next 00:02:44 to the grower standard to ensure that we had all our products in there in the planter, in the infer and the tub two 00:02:51 and all my products not in there. So we're very careful about how we do that to make sure that we can prove that this is 00:02:58 The right thing. 'cause when you tell me I can take four ounces of a product versus 32 ounces or 128 ounces 00:03:05 and get the same result, you going to have to show me. I'm just a little bit hardheaded. And I will tell you the guys at Spray Tech have, 00:03:13 they've actually showed up and showed out. They even carried Chad and Matt and myself over to Brazil. And uh, that's where we really got 00:03:22 to learn a lot about the products and understand how they do what they do. So if you're not using spray tap products, 00:03:29 I strongly encourage you to start looking into 'em.
