00:00:00 So we're out here at our field day, got the spray tech guys. I was really looking forward to pulling some 00:00:05 good yields off this. I'm starting to worry now 'cause they went around pulling my ears of corn off. Um, so I, I don't know, we figure something out. 00:00:14 I might have to go 10 foot in the field to get started. Might have lost A little yield here. Might 00:00:17 have lost a little bit, but, uh, but we're still pushing this corn guys. Um, we are, we're hoping 00:00:22 to put another application on and we're going to keep pushing. We're about 800 growing degree units 00:00:27 from black LA right now. And uh, so we still got some time to play. So one thing I did a little different this time on this is, 00:00:34 you know, we're in disease alley. Yep. Mm-hmm. So, um, we put cube on this corn when it was right before, uh, we went into tassel in the, in the late vt, 00:00:44 um, about V 16. Yep. Mm-hmm. And normally I would not do that. I would be running a fungicide, but we added that 00:00:51 and then, um, we added, uh, a lot of other nutrients there and the boron max. 00:00:58 Uh, I can't, I can't run the sprayer without my boron max, but, uh, but one thing that's important 00:01:04 that I learned on the boron max is, you know, you, you put your full tech in your adductor first with your water, dump your boron in and it's no problem. 00:01:13 But if you want create a problem, put your boron in first and don't put your full tech adjuvant in 00:01:20 and you can, there's real pretty green lava rock. So I thought about making some to sell to go some fish bowls or something. 00:01:26 Yeah. But, uh, tell me a little bit about the cube. It's not a fungicide, but it's, it's kind act, it kind acts like a fungicide. 00:01:33 Yes. And it's a whole lot less money and this is a tight economy and that's the reason I wanted to try it, 00:01:38 to cut some cost. Yeah. So with the cube, you know, you're getting the, you're getting the nutritional side, 00:01:42 then you're also getting the copper side, which is really good for the plant health. And also we're combating this bacterial and fungal disease. 00:01:48 Mm-hmm. So you're getting that aspect of it too. Yeah. So you're putting your fungicide out to protect your yield. Mm-hmm. You know, that you got there, you put the cube out 00:01:55 to increase the fungicide, has no nutritional value, you're just protecting Correct. You know, your plan against the fungal disease. 00:02:01 Alright. So when I was in Brazil and I went and got to meet with the chemist and, and really see what you guys were doing, 00:02:07 boots on the ground, I'm kind of ashamed to say it, but I didn't realize how important copper was mm-hmm. On the plant health side. 00:02:15 Honestly, I had in my mindset that I had the fungicide, fungicide, fungicide. But then when I found out nutritionally it's, you know, 00:02:22 it's a nutrient and balanced plant basically. Yep. And then the, the copper comes in there. So what, what's your thoughts on that? 00:02:28 I've always kinda said if it's kinda like the human body, if you can keep your, your body healthy, 00:02:33 give it the nutrition you need, you're gonna stay healthy along. Mm-hmm. It's the same with plants. 00:02:37 If you can put up nutrition up front, keep it healthy, you're gonna have a better chance of finding off your disease pressure. 00:02:43 And the copper is a big, big part in all that, uh, copper Ramp and it synergistic between everything. 00:02:48 Exactly. Yeah. Absolutely. And another thing is we're dropping the pH, the full tech is in the full tech cube as well. 00:02:55 Mm-hmm. So we're dropping the pH, which is doing wonders out there, even with the fungicide application. Yeah. So 00:03:01 That's, we control and got the spreader in there. Everything. Absolutely. Yeah. And you, and, and, 00:03:06 and I'll piggyback off this, you know, we're actually able to drive our nutrients into the plant. 00:03:12 Now is this a sales pitch? Is this that It's not, This is not, this is not a sales pitch. This is what we're doing. We're actually 00:03:16 No, and I've seen it to drive It down to the plant. I mean, if you pair the cube with a fungicide, you can take it systemic. 00:03:21 You know, normally when you put a fungicide out, the lowest leaf it hits, it works from there up. Right. With the cube, we're able to drive it down, 00:03:27 Drive it down in, and make it Systemic. So the one thing, you know, we, we've got a lot of stuff on our spray truck. 00:03:34 Yeah. And we got, uh, two spray trucks running. Two sprayers. Brad and I do, we do all the spray and sadly I'm hoping somebody's going to knock me out 00:03:43 of the saddle, but, uh, but four ounces. Yep. I don't have to have a bunch of jugs on there. Yep. So four ounces acre. Mm-hmm. 00:03:51 That's, that's pretty fun. It is. Yep. Yep. People get kind of nervous when they dump it outta the jug 'cause of how thick it is, but man, once it hits water, 00:03:58 it goes right into solution of no issues. So honestly, I was very concerned on the four ounce rate. Number one. How's this four ounces of say ec K? 00:04:07 You want to compare it to a gallon? A k acetate? I I almost think it's smoke of mirrors, but then when I get to Brazil 00:04:14 and I understand how their concept is, they're not gonna pay to transport water. No. They're really high active ingredients 00:04:22 and then we'll use the water at the farm. Mm-hmm. And so you're not paying for all that freight. Correct. Yep. And once I understood that, 00:04:29 then it made more sense. Yep. You're, you're still getting that poundage into that plant. 00:04:34 Yep. You're getting that nutrient into that plant. Yep. But it's, it's, these low use rates is kind of hard for the American farmer for me 00:04:41 as an American farmer to understand. Mm-hmm.
