00:00 First, Red went in and drilled oats into mackoines, and now Richie's spraying it. He's spraying with BioAg-E and a product from Rovensa 00:00:08 called Mortar. Rovensa is a new partner of XtremeAg. We're trying a few of their adjuvants. Mortar is a product that is advertised to help with water 00:00:16 absorption, infiltration, and improve biology. So part of that farm we're spraying BioAg-E on, which is our proprietary calibrated agronomy 00:00:27 biology product that we really like and we use on every acre multiple times a year. The good Lord gave us equal parts 00:00:34 pathogens and beneficials. Through farming practices over the last few generations, 00:00:40 we've kind of damaged a lot of the beneficials, specifically overuse of nitrogen, fungicide, tillage, being out of balance, 00:00:48 things like that. We've killed a lot of the beneficials. BioAg-E is really just a lot of 00:00:54 beneficial microbes to put back out in the soil, and we just simply have to compete. It really is the yin and the yang. 00:01:00 That's the way the good Lord set it up. And so we're using Mortar to also help the biology. That's one of the things that Rovensa talks about is improved biology. 00:01:10 And the soil health that we're trying to obtain, I really think that we're not reaching our potential because of 00:01:18 poor soil health. It's the reason we're putting oats in in this field. We're trying to battle the fusarium. 00:01:22 I've changed my perspective a lot in the last decade over trying to over-fertilize, over-control to 00:01:30 raise big crops. I now think, again, my new tagline is farming in tune with mother nature. And I'm willing to try just about anything 00:01:40 to farm in tune with mother nature and supplement what she does, and I need to improve the biology that past generations, 00:01:48 myself included, have damaged. We're going to see if Mortar from Rovensa will 00:01:52.600 --> 00:01:52.900
