Hi, this is Kelly Geer from XtremeAg. It's the beginning of May. It's planting season. We're here with Mike Evans, his plot planter.
00:00:07
It's his baby. He's been working on it all winter. We're mixing up the Nature's Trial to go out. There's various Nature's products in here.
00:00:14
First Down, Crop Max, K-Flex Max, of course, things like that. That's not really what's important.
00:00:20
What's important here is, as you know, almost every Nature's product has acetate in it. I think Tommy Roach has acetate running through his veins.
00:00:28
Tommy and I have had extensive conversations about the value of acetate. We sometimes think that the yield gain that we get isn't
00:00:36
necessarily from the nutrient, it's from the acetate. And so this is going in-furrow. There's going to be some two-by-two applications. Later on, there'll be some foliar applications.
00:00:44
And what we're after here is, again, the nutrients are important, but what's really important is the acetate. And why that's important is because
00:00:51
acetate is food for biology. And of course, everybody's about waking up the soil, letting the soil reach its potential, and then acetate also
00:00:59
upcycles the nutrients of carbon, phosphorus, nitrogen, and sulfur. So if we can upcycle those in the soil, make them more available
00:01:06
to the plant, plus feed the biology with the acetate, we're going to see what sort of yield gain we get here. It's really interesting to me now that Tommy with
00:01:14
Nature's is moving beyond the nutrient going into the acetate, going into the soil, and the interaction or the synergistic effect that the acetate has with the biology of the
