00:00:00 Got our Dim Co. We've got to use this cart this year. It's been really neat having a right hand a cart. A little bit different actually than uh, 00:00:10 having it on the right side, but it's just something that you, you kind of grow to love. I always felt like it should be on this side. 00:00:18 It was kind of hard for some to realize that. But one thing Demco has done is over here we've just got this nice little joystick. 00:00:26 It's kinda like a pilot hand. You leave one outlet engaged, we just hit that button for out. 00:00:32 It's folding the auger out. If you look, look here behind me, you can see the auger coming out. 00:00:37 Yep. It's going to the right side. The nice thing is when I've got somebody riding in the buddy seat, I don't have to worry about looking over 'em 00:00:44 or anything, then I can lower it down here, get it right in my line of sight. I can work my auger, my spout, 00:00:54 I can work it anyway in and out. Go back, pull it right in there. Just real good visibility right here 00:01:01 when I'm running corn out, loading it. And um, I'm normally in the combine so I get to watch Eddie do this all the time 00:01:09 and um, it kind of was pretty cool this year. We always fold the aller in and out anyway, so it's really not that big a deal. 00:01:17 But not having to chase your SUVs. You got everything right here on this joystick. Go right here. Your scales on the iPad is very easy to use. 00:01:26 Keeps up with your farms. It sinks in with operation center to put all your farms in it. 00:01:33 It also, um, you can do a report on all your ever load and that come in very handy this year working with our crop insurance, trying 00:01:42 to get all that stuff figured out. But some of the things that I really do like about this cart is that right hand auger. 00:01:49 I, it just makes sense to me having it on this side. I know it's a change from what we've always done, but folks, the reason we always had 00:01:57 that left hand auger was back in the day the augers was bolted. They didn't fold, uh, with a hydraulic cylinder 00:02:05 and you had to have it outta the way. So you, when you went to the combine to load it, it wouldn't be in the way because the way your auger on your 00:02:11 left hand side of your combine. So it all flowed. But nowadays we got hydraulics, everything's different. Things has changed. Let's move this thing on the right side 00:02:19 where we got good visibility, easy to see, easy to load. I really like it. Another thing is 00:02:26 that you can adjust this auger up and down. That's something new to me that we've never had before. The tracks is a pretty cool feature. 00:02:36 It keeps it narrow for all of our roading that we do. And we had, we travel a good distance, 50 50 plus miles north to south, 30 plus miles east to west. 00:02:46 We did not see any heating up of the tracks. They held up very good. The one thing that um, you will find 00:02:53 that's a negative on tracks is they do pull harder than the wheels. Your, your wheel carts pull much easier. 00:03:00 I, I was not aware of that till we started running this one out in the fields. But it stays up on top of the ground. It does a great job. 00:03:08 I do like the tracks. It's very smooth. It's not jerking and all and you hit you we call 'em uh, hoe drains, 00:03:14 which is like a little ditch it we put in with a digger across the field. You don't ever fill them at all. 00:03:21 But overall we're pretty satisfied with it. The fire suppression kit, probably going to have one of them on every one of our carts next year. 00:03:29 We had a combine fire this year and it was with a soybean crew and we had this cart on the corn crew. 00:03:36 Had we had it, we wouldn't have had to spend three hours with the fire department there. 00:03:40 Getting that fire put out. We had very minimal damage 'cause the fire department done a great job and uh, Jim and the guys there, uh, doing the operations on 00:03:50 that crew done a phenomenal job identifying that fire. But guys, if you got this water suppression kit on your cart and you hit that fire within the first three minutes 00:04:01 of the fire, the five minutes of the fire, the success of minimal damage is so dramatically increased. It's unreal. 300 gallons of water, high pressure, a hundred, 00:04:11 a hundred foot hose there on that thing. You can really knock it down fast and that's what you need. But Demco did a lot of things about this card. 00:04:19 I like we're going to get out and I'm gonna show you a couple other things that's that I really like about it. 00:04:25 So just come with me. So one thing is neat is we got a hydraulic jack. You got a big cart like this, you go to unhook it. 00:04:35 You don't wanna be cranking on it. Hydraulic jack right here. Real easy to work. You work it in and out with your hydraulic outlet on your 00:04:42 tractor, no problem. One thing that you do need to remember when you go with the dual logger cart, that's a lower profile 00:04:49 'cause you're gonna have a little less ground clearance through here that you will have with a single AER cart that's jacked up higher. 00:04:55 No big deal. But that's just something I want you to be aware of. The dual auger. 00:05:00 We got a good bank of grease fittings right here, real easy to get to. That makes it really nice. Another bank right here. 00:05:10 Demco really thought about the serviceability of this thing. It's very important. I love the fact 00:05:15 that this thing ain't so tall. This card is a lot shorter. It's easier to load in our vert rolling hills 00:05:22 and terrain going every which way. That makes it much nicer. The clean out on it. I was concerned nothing to it. Pull that. 00:05:33 Oh you got four doors underneath, it opens up, everything's clean and there's very little 00:05:38 to clean up at the end of the season. Roll tarp works good. This right here is easy to access. The ladders up here outta the way. Everything does good. 00:05:49 The only thing we don't have on this cart that I would recommend is a camera on the back. And that's something if we put a cart like 00:05:55 this in our operation, We will have a camera on the back and up on the spout as well. 00:06:01 But with that right hand auger, you just about don't even need one on the spout, but it's just something we've got accustomed to. 00:06:07 We'll walk over here. We'll get one last look at the fire suppression. Just in case you hadn't seen what we've been talking about. 00:06:14 You do have the good saucy tracks with a fluid level. Easy to identify right there. 300 gallons right here. We got a hydraulic centrifugal pump down underneath. 00:06:28 Got our hose. Everything's easy to get to. You can take and unlock it right here on the side. Do unlock and then pull it right out. 00:06:39 This is your clean out gate like most. And it's no different than the other auger carts, but everything's easy to clean out, easy to maintain. 00:06:48 And you can tell by the jack right there, it's got the big footprint on it to hold it. If you was to unhook it, unload, 00:06:54 or with a weight in it, I would recommend putting some cribbing under it. Just for safety sake. 00:07:00 If you have any further questions about the Demco carts, give us an email at extreme Ag. 00:07:06 We'll be glad to talk openly with you about it. But we're very pleased with the outcome of this machine. It does a great job. 00:07:13 It's done everything they said it would do. And yep, I'm standing on the right side again. And that's the auger. That's a big old boy right there. 00:07:23 1300 bushels. That's a lot of weight behind you. Be sure to match your tractor with your cart. You can overload the tractor with these big carts. 174 00:07:31.275 --> 00:07:31.845
