Hey guys, it's Temple Rose from Extreme Ag. So this year we got to use a new product. So the new product was from vi crop protection.
00:07
What we changed this year was I normally use an insecticide fungicide on my planter and in furrow.
00:14
Well, this year I did the same thing, but these two things mixed together, it's a by fender and it's also astronaut.
00:20
It has the ability to mix way different than what oil we used to use in the past. We used to have a direct injection system
00:28
that you would pour it in. It was a thicker material. We had a lot of mixing issues with, with a lot of those fungicides, insecticides, and furrow.
00:36
Well, this one here, it's got what they call nanotechnology. Don't ask me what that is.
00:40
Alls I know is for me, it blends a lot better. So we just directly put it in through the inductor and blow it in and we're getting great results with it.
00:50
I'm out here now and you know, it's been a really dry year out here out east, but I mean, when you look at the ear leaf
00:56
and all, you know, we're not seeing, I mean, it looks pretty clean. We're not really seeing a lot.
01:01
So, I mean, we've got pretty good protection so far. Am I gonna make another trip with another application with fungicide?
01:08
Late season? Probably. I'm gonna wait till well after brown silk to to do that because as of right now, I don't have any disease out here.
01:17
And on a year, like this year was being as dry as it is. I think it's great that it's given me kind
01:22
of season long protection up to this point. So right till now, I'm gonna probably make some call on some dry land fields
01:29
where we don't apply anything. And then some of the dry land fields that I think that still have a little bit of potential,
01:35
we'll go ahead and we'll hit them. But for me it's kind of a little bit of a game changer here because we can actually take this product.
01:43
I'm not gonna have mixing issues. I can get a bunch of protection for fungus, you know, up until now.
01:49
So usually by now I've al, I would've already hit this with at least one more fungicide treatment, so that saved me a pile of money.
