00:00:00 Johnny Rell with extreme Ag. You know, we're out here today cutting double crop soybeans and you know, one of the neat features that Deere has 00:00:06 that came out here in the last few years that they really worked on and it's really became more and more automated is the machine sink. 00:00:12 You know, that's been a big deal as far as being able to have a automatic grain cart without a driver, stuff like that. 00:00:19 You know, at first I didn't think that'd be a big deal for us. When you start running at night 00:00:22 and you have a lot of dusty conditions, like what we do, sometimes we don't have much wind here in the south 00:00:26 and the dust just starts laying and you really can't see anything. Having it to where the grain cart operator doesn't have 00:00:33 to be worried about hitting a header that's only three or four feet away from the tires has been a big deal for us. And you know, just like right now, 00:00:39 I called in the grain cart. He came in, he came in here on the screen, you can see him. He's locked into us right now. 00:00:46 It's a home point set on here and if I need to move him forward or back, I can nudge him here on the screen 00:00:52 or on the multifunction control handle. You can move him back and forth there too. So it's pretty neat how it works. 00:00:58 As you're starting to load the grain cart, I can move the grain cart up a little bit, load it front to back or side to side, whatever you need. 00:01:05 But that's just another thing that Deere's brought to the market to really make the easability of harvest be a little bit better 00:01:10 and a little bit more efficient. And also in times when you kind of shorthanded like we are this time of year, we're trying 00:01:16 to plant wheat, different things. We got guys scattered everywhere. I could put somebody in that grain cart that might not be, 00:01:22 you know, as comfortable as some of the other drivers are, he could sit there and take care 00:01:25 of the grain cart dumping on the truck 'cause I can sit there and control him going through the field. 00:01:29 He don't have to worry about bumping the header or or getting in the way. It's always gonna keep him at the right distance 50 00:01:35.325 --> 00:01:36.685
