I loved it the first time I came to your farm three and a half years ago, you said, I've never had a failure. 00:00:41 I've just had experiments that didn't quite work out. I love the way you think about stuff. You are more willing to mess it up than most anybody I know. 00:00:50 And I applaud that. I mean, you, I mean, it's not a failure unless you don't learn anything from it. 00:00:57 It's only a failure if you don't learn anything from it, Right? That's 00:01:00 right. So tell me about the experimentation you're gonna try this year or something you are afraid to try. I don't think you're afraid to try anything. Afraid to 00:01:05 Try anything. I mean, God, its coward. Yeah. Experimentation. Experimentation. You've always wanted to try. Let's, let's say one, I wanna 00:01:14 Know one that Stephanie's afraid to try. And I think it's important for everybody I know to the viewer. 00:01:18 First off, nobody knew the ti to what we were gonna talk about, but I might have given Stephanie just a little bit of a warm up. 00:01:22 She got a heads up, warm up. And also, Stephanie's not just an employee of Aquid, she and her husband farm about 4,000 acres in central Michigan. 00:01:29 So she's got real street cred when it comes to farming. What's something you've always wanted to try and you're afraid to even you? 00:01:34 Oh yes, I wanna pick hers. Okay. I don't know if there's anything that I am afraid to try. Um, this past year I did try something 00:01:43 that was a little bit scary. I put a thousand dollars budget on a soybean crop, which included fertility. 00:01:49 Just fertility. Yeah. So The person that's listening to this, this says, Hey man, I'm gonna cranberry bug out here in Massachusetts. 00:01:53 What she talking about? You mean you budgeted $1,000 of spend on inputs per acre on a soybean crop? Yeah. For fertility lime mean anything nutrition related. 00:02:01 Knock knock. Did you want to tell her that that experiment's gonna be a problem? Because, um, Gar, uh, 00:02:07 Mr. Garrett spent $900 on a soybean crop per acre. And his dad said, how the hell did you get $900 in an acre of soybean production? 00:02:16 He did that. That encompassed everything though. That was land machinery, everything on normal production beans. 00:02:21 She's just talking on inputs, just Nutrition. Yeah, she was, and I'd like to try anine beans again. I I sometimes wonder about the extra nitrogen early in 00:02:29 the season for the beans. And so I applaud what she's doing because I can't make beans profitable. 00:02:35 She's trying to do that. Is there a chance that she might be overspending by a few hundred dollars per acre? Oh, 00:02:41 Absolutely there is, but we don't know if we don't try. And then she's gonna learn something from it, and then you have to see what you can scale up. 00:02:46 How are you doing this? I mean, you, I'm, I'm almost thinking, are you just going out there and just flinging dollar bills around? 00:02:51 Because I, it's hard for me to fathom getting that much money in fertility per acre. We didn't spend a thousand dollars. We tried. Oh. 00:02:57 But we, we could not get there to do it. How, How did you not get there? Like, how you, how did you not get there? Like what did 00:03:03 Well, we ran out of time, first of all, but we did big lime applications and stuff up front. So that took a big chunk of the cash, a bunch of hell lime. 00:03:08 But yeah, we didn't get quite to a thousand dollars. But what we learned is the acres that we spent nothing on yielded exactly the same as 00:03:16 what we spent hundreds of Thousands on. That's been my Experience. So I think what we just learned is, um, 00:03:21 you should really not try and overspend on soybean production because it's not gonna pay back. Well, I think mother nature plays more 00:03:26 of a part on soybean production than anything else. And, you know, we just, we had beautiful beans super tall. All right, 00:03:32 Tell me something. Now we're finally being, we're always honest here at extreme ag, something you did that was, you don't call it a failure, 00:03:38 but it, it clearly did not work out. And gimme one, an experiment that absolutely just, uh, fizzled like a bad dud at fireworks night. 00:03:47 I'm might have think on it a little bit. Like I really don't, I mean, I don't really know Something I'd like to do again. 00:03:52 In 2017 was our first year of irrigated soybeans, and we put on a hundred pounds of anhydrous and we side dressed a hundred pounds of actual potash. 00:04:03 And those beans came up, they were beautiful and they were green. And in August we had, there was 110,000 population. 00:04:10 It, that's what we planted. So there was a hundred, 105,000 plants out there. And we had a, on average 158 pods per plant. 00:04:18 And I thought, holy cow, what are we gonna do? Yeah. And then on August 24th, we got a six inch rain. And on August 27th, we got a four inch rain 00:04:25 and they laid down and when they stood back up, they had 90 pods and they made 88. And I never tried to do that again with the fertility 00:04:34 because I thought, I, this is before PGRs and this is before things like that. This is before calcium, you know what I mean? 00:04:40 Uh, and when I was very green, and now with what we know now with the hormones and the PGRs and the calcium, I, I should try to try do that again. 00:04:48 But that was a failure because we lost half of them. We lost half the pots and they were there and they were filling. 00:04:55 That was the biggest disappointment of my farming career. Or It could have been half the Biggest disappointment. 00:04:59 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait, we're we're gonna get to that later. The biggest disappointment was 00:05:03 that you only got 88 bushel soybeans. Oh, The biggest disappointment. You're Not the smart kid in class who like says, 00:05:08 oh, I threw my test. You got a 94 or something. Yeah. Nobody likes you. I'm telling you what was there and what we lost. 00:05:15 It was incredibly disappointing. 88 bushels, soybeans are great, but that's not what we had. Yeah, we had more than that. 00:05:20 You finally got one something you've, that was a dismal dud. I can tell you. What do you want, Charlie? I can tell you. 00:05:25 This year I decided to, uh, broadcast all my wheat Broadcast. Instead of Drilling, broadcast my wheat instead of drilling, 00:05:32 Johnny gets away with it. Temple gets away with it. Like they have great wheat crops. Both of 'em grow more wheat than me. Negative ghost rider. 00:05:41 That thing's terrible. Why? What happened? It didn't come up like you mess around and get the wrong brain, you mess around 00:05:48 and get the wrong rain or don't get a rain. And then we're always planting behind that corn stubble, you know, and we harvest the corn crop 00:05:55 and it's a lot of fodder there. And then we, yeah, we throw that out and you work it a couple times and it just lays on top. 00:06:00 We need to like match and burn it off. You know, that's just a big negative. So, but we, we got a couple 00:06:07 where we got one rain, it was fine. But where you got like a 10th and a 10th and a 10th and that wheat that was laying on top. 00:06:15 I have never in my life, I don't know anybody I challenge anybody to call me. 00:06:19 Will you put my number on the bottom of the screen? Call me if you've ever replanted wheat. I replanted 500 acres. Like how you do that? 00:06:26 I think if you lit, I can tell you something. If you, I'm gonna say this. If I Oh sorry. Say you. If I, 00:06:34 You, I, I don't know man. All, If I can't afford to drill wheat, I'll just quit growing wheat. How about that? There you go. 00:06:41 I mean, it's a real simple, it doesn't seem like they make really good wheat broadcasting, but I just, 00:06:46 That doesn't seem like that big of a screw up. Uh, so you had to replant 500 acres. Replant 500 acres. Well, I mean, the truth is it's pretty, it's, 00:06:53 I mean it's hard to screw up wheat. Uh, it's kinda like How many people's ever refining wheat. If It's hard to screw, screw up wheat. You're not doing 00:06:59 Very good to be ain. Anybody ever refin wheat? I have. What do you wanna try? What do you wanna try that you're going to say, we're gonna do this. 00:07:06 You know what, I've been tow this around. I'm gonna do it. What are you gonna do? So I have an idea to bring Chad in. 00:07:11 We wanna get a second year to stay on a corn plant. We talked about this at your farm once before. I'd like to do that. We, we Were gonna 00:07:19 That. So we've tried, you know, we've tried a lot from fertility, we've tried a lot from, you know, different growth hormones 00:07:23 and you'll get a ear until midsummer and then it just disappears. So what can we do from the fertility side, 00:07:31 from the water side to get that second ear to stay around Evolved a long way. 00:07:36 When I was young, they told me that we didn't want a second ear because it took or deprived the other ear 00:07:41 of the energy it needed to put on a good ear. And that was a stupid idea to try and have a second. It sounds like 00:07:45 Something a seed corn salesman would tell you. Uh, probably so. Probably so. I believe that it's, uh, uh, 00:07:54 I believe that we can't do that. I believe that we aren't keeping the second year because we have the same experience. 00:07:58 You know, you, you have the plant and the root is the, uh, main focus of the plant. Then you put the ear on 00:08:03 and the root becomes the second focus. Then you put the second ear on. The root becomes the third focus. 00:08:07 Then we lose the root before we should, and then we lose the second ear because it aborts we need 00:08:11 to keep the root active in the soil longer to keep feeding that second ear. And we haven't accomplished that yet. 00:08:17 But ask him about the phone call that I've given him multiple times. Like every time, every time me 00:08:21 or him think we have a theory. Yeah. Then either one of us can walk out on our field and our own fields and prove each other's 00:08:28 theory and our own world. Mm-hmm. Alright. So Do you know what I'm talking about? Yeah. Like you can prove your own theory. 00:08:34 Like this is what's going on. Yeah. What Do you think? You know, you're, you're one of your things that we like 00:08:38 to talk about, and your buddy Matt Miles, uh, quotes, it commonly says, every company in America, every company in the world that's succeeding, 00:08:47 devotes a certain amount of their budget to r and d. And if you're a farmer, you should take a few acres, uh, a certain percentage of your farm, 00:08:55 and it should be doing some research and development every year. You, that's one of your big things. 00:08:59 You get a lot of accolades from me too on that. What's the experiment gonna be this year? What's the, what's the r 00:09:04 and d department look like this year? Oh, I don't even know yet. I mean, it's definitely gonna be that. 00:09:08 It's always gonna be that what, what Stephanie's talking about. I mean, that's gonna happen. I 00:09:11 mean, we're going to go to the, You're gonna overspend on soybeans and not possibly No, No, no. Not this year. I 00:09:16 promise you better not be there this year. Like, Stephanie, spend more than you could ever make back. If you wanna talk about something, we'll talk about 00:09:20 underspending on soybeans and still trying to make a profit. So that's what we can talk about. Yes. 00:09:24 But, but I mean, it just don't look favorable for the end this year. But, you know, every year we're gonna have 00:09:29 that particular, you know, study. We're gonna have that, that's trying to do that and try to hold it second ear. 00:09:37 Um, there's people that's figured it out, but, um, it's gonna take a different mindset than what I got, I promise you. 00:09:44 And I don't think it's fertility. Like I don't think it's fertility at all. I Don't think so either. 00:09:49 On the second ear, I don't think it's fertility. I think it's soil-borne diseases that bother that root. And we've gotta keep the root of life. 00:09:55 I wanna put cover crops out at V three V four in my corn. We covered this in the podcast, which is awesome you're 00:10:02 bringing up right now because there's a whole bunch of people that a, think that's crazy. B it's the old thing. It'll never work here. 00:10:07 You're gonna have someone that literally farms across the roof you and said, well that'll work for Kelly Garrett, 00:10:11 but it'd never worked here because farmers love to say That. Like he wants to plant something. 00:10:15 And then that's the same time that we're gonna spray atrazine and everything else in there to 00:10:18 try to keep the mouth clean. We've, We've taken atrazine out. It'll have to be after the post kimm. You're right. Yeah. 00:10:23 Uh, I agree. It'll have to be after. I mean, that sounds bad. And uh, but we've taken all atrazine out now 00:10:29 because of what we're trying to do with the cover crops. Yep. And move things around to graze the cattle. 00:10:32 We're not trying to rotate corn and beans anywhere. We're trying to rotate corn and cattle. And the atrazine is a problem for the 00:10:38 Cattle. Yep. Yep. 'cause it's just too 00:10:39.665 --> 00:10:39.785 cleaned. That's a good problem 00:10:41 There. There you go. So you're gonna put in this stuff, and again, you'll have a whole bunch of people, neighbors, et cetera, that this, that won't work. 00:10:46 This won't work. It wouldn't work here. Farmers love to do that. Uh, literally cross the road from you 00:10:51 and you're convinced it's gonna be pulled off. This is a pretty big experiment. What's the downside? Uh, if it competes with the corn, 00:10:57 The downside is you put in cover crops too early. Um, The corn's still growing. It competes with the corns de deprives your corn 00:11:04 of moisture and or nutrients. I Don't believe it as long, as, long as it doesn't compete with the corn, I don't believe it will 00:11:11 deprivate of moisture. Because I believe, I now believe after working with TJ and the intensive rotational grazing we had last year, 00:11:17 when you have multi-species in the field, that collaboration of species of plants, there's actually more moisture. 00:11:23 Uh, you know, Gabe Brown talks about that. You and I have talked about that and I believe that that's true. 00:11:27 Uh, they talk about putting that, uh, cover crop out as early as V two. I don't think we can put it out 00:11:32 then because of the post chem. We're going gonna need to get it later. Uh, they, the other people, you know, tj, 00:11:37 my cover crop friend that's doing this, he's actually drilling him in with a side dress bar as he's split applying is nitrogen. 00:11:44 I can't do that in my hills. So we're gonna try to broadcast it. Hopefully it gets rained and it comes 00:11:48 up better than your wheat. Yeah. But that's the other downside too. What if it doesn't come up 00:11:52 So you're gonna broadcast it with an airplane Or with the airplane or the drone or something like that. Then the seed will hang on those corn leaves 00:11:59 for about a week and a half and or get eaten by birds At that early. It's not gonna hang on them. No 00:12:05 Corn's too little. Little Corn's going too little. Yeah. What's gonna Go wrong with this experiment? 00:12:09 If it gets a year, Judge, Hey wait, judge it, If he gets a dry year, he can hurt both his cover crop 00:12:15 establishment and his corn crop. You like the person that's at the local diner that says that'll never work out. 00:12:20 He's just being foolish. Be that person. But I don't think that, I think it could work. So I don't, I think he, I think he'll be fine, 00:12:26 but I don't, I'm scared he'll go too early. Yeah. I think he need to go right as the corn's lapping. And then that way any rain you get will bring it out. 00:12:33 You know, like we typically have decent rains in June, then you don't have very many rains in July, August and September. 00:12:38 I need to go early enough that I'm still gonna get a rain dump. I already know. But the viewer 00:12:42 of the Grainery show does not know what's the cover crop mix gonna be because that's kind of a, 00:12:46 a critical component to its success. It's Gonna be some brassica, you know, think cabbages, things like that. 00:12:51 And there's not gonna, and there is gonna be some r some cereal rye in there. No, There's gonna be some cereal. Rye is a bad word to me. 00:12:57 Yeah. Yes. And no rye grass. There could be a bit of annual rye grass. Annual. But that's different than cereal rye. Cereal 00:13:03 Rye is the bad stuff. I won't use cereal. Yeah. It can be. It it we've had a lot of coming disasters. 00:13:07 Yes. We've now learned that if you have fusarium in your soil, fusarium and cereal rye is very hard on our crops. 00:13:14 So the only thing that you see is, is weather. You see it being too early. Uh, I, I see his point. I mean, you gotta get a rain. 00:13:22 But, uh, I wanted to be as, I'd rather be late because remember, like I said, most farmers go home and we're 1500, 1800 GDU in. 00:13:30 Yep. And it takes even where he's at, he's looking at somewhere around 22, 2300 GDU to finish. So he's still got a thousand GDU 00:13:37 Left. So I think it's important to the person saying why is he even doing this? The motivation, the the, the objective is, 00:13:43 The objective is conservation, weed suppression, moisture retention, and the cattle feed to be there when the corn comes off. 00:13:50 So the person that doesn't have cows that can, that can't turn the cows out there after the corn is harvested, is gonna say, well, 00:13:56 I don't know if I would even make this. I, it wouldn't make any sense to me. You can still justify it on the grounds 00:14:00 Out. Weed suppression, conservation, Moisture, Moisture, retention and Yeah, obviously erosion control when you've got 00:14:06 slopes like you have over there. All right. Now you should be motivated, Stephanie, we just talked about what 00:14:10 he's doing that's getting kind of crazy. He's gonna be judged by the neighbors and here you are. Oh, I work for Agri Liquid. I can't they big experis. 00:14:17 'cause you know what? The neighbors will judge me. Is that really have happen? No, It doesn't happen. Yeah. 00:14:20 Like they're not gonna judge me any harder than the time I planted beans in December. 00:14:24 Right. Good point. Good point. How'd that work out? That actually not Very, that didn't, Not very 00:14:28 Well. I If it could have stayed frozen until the 1st of April and then just warmed up one time, 00:14:33 maybe it would be okay. It Would've made You do it again another Year. Yes, it would've made me do it 00:14:36 again. And then failed. Uh, it warmed up in March. They germinated. Some of 'em tried, you know, they never came up, 00:14:42 but they germinated then when it rero it killed them. Yeah. So if it were, there's the old thing, there's nothing like a dumb ass idea 00:14:47 that actually you pull off because then it kind of reinforces you, Which makes you bulletproof. Yeah, yeah. 00:14:51 Yeah. That's exactly Right. That was not a bulletproof one. What do you think more people should try? 00:14:55 You are honestly a person that's always out there and the reason they tune into extreme ag is they want to hear from you. 00:15:00 I don't know. What do you think? What you, what, what do you think they're, what do you think too many farmers are too conservative. 00:15:05 Um, When they try, they don't try enough. You try enough. I've got my theory, I've got my answer. 00:15:12 I wanna go with you first. You're the farmer. Go ahead. I've learned, I, I want to preface what Chad's about to say. 00:15:17 Maybe I have learned so much from Chad because Chad's got a t-shirt on that you can't see right now. 00:15:22 It says send it, because when Chad tries something, he goes to the extreme, like her thousand dollars 00:15:27 an acre on soybeans. That's extreme. Chad goes to the extreme. And so like a, a normal farmer to me, they say, 00:15:33 well I'm gonna turn my soybean population down a little bit, so I'm gonna go from one 50 to one 40. 00:15:38 That is nothing. Would It be fair to say that Chad might have a little bit of a compulsive uh, personality and obsessive 00:15:45 I think we all do. I want, this is what I want you to tell him. I want you to tell him about when you put on the 400 00:15:51 bushel worth of removal. Yeah, that didn't work. But how much did we learn? I've learned a tremendous 00:15:55 amount from that. Just from you telling From it, from it not working. That's the story you need to tell. 00:16:01 I'm Waiting. We don't have that much time. Yeah, We got that much time. Give us the highlights. I mean, but the, the point is, you know, that, that, um, 00:16:07 so we decided we was gonna put out enough fertilizer to make the machine stop spreading in a variable rate situation. 00:16:13 Right. So that yield goal in the farm we was doing it on the yield goal was 850 bushel 00:16:18 to make the machine keep spreading. It was 850 bushel. You, you just keep bumping the number until it all turns green. 00:16:24 You know? So we did that and I mean, literally the machine was putting out I think 1400 pound fertilizer acre. 00:16:30 Uh, so we, we did it from like pole to pole, you know, quarter there, pole to pole, nothing. Didn't see nothing in tissue samples, didn't see nothing. 00:16:41 Soil samples. It's like, it's a, oh man, you know what? Wait till next year. Well, that was about seven, eight years ago. 00:16:47 Still can't find it. Mm-hmm. So, I mean, it really opened my eyes to what we're doing with dry fertilizer, what we're trying to do to our soils. 00:16:53 Yeah. What we're trying to build or not build. And it, and it just makes you think outside the box a little bit on, on where you headed. 00:16:59 Because, you know, you asked the question earlier about what do most farmers need to try? They need to try to get out their 00:17:04 coffer zone just a little bit. Just a little bit. Just on one crop and then on one field. And then don't try to fix everything at once. 00:17:11 'cause they'll get overwhelmed. Mm-hmm. You know, just, um, start taking some tissue samples. What should more farmers 00:17:17 As bad as me and you talk about this, You're out there. By the way, we did a, a past episode of, uh, 00:17:21 the cutting curve podcast about the tissue sample, not the tissue sample. And it was, uh, with the I liquid friends and Chad and me, 00:17:27 and it was a very colorful episode. Go check it out. Uh, what should more farmers do for an experiment? 00:17:33 Well, I think what Chad just said, get outta your comfort zone. And, you know, that's what we're kind of 00:17:36 looking to do at home. You know, we're cutting back acres a little bit. Who's, who's more conservative? You or your husband? 00:17:42 My husband. So you're the one that's wanting to push it. Yeah. But he's kind of getting there though. 00:17:47 How many years have you been working with this guy? Almost 30. So it took 30 years. You finally get him to get a little bit more, uh, wide open. 00:17:54 It's these guys. He's, I start traveling with me more and they've convinced him. All right. What's should more farmers experiment with? 00:18:00 Obviously the cover crop thing, you and I both think is the way of the future. And we hear, all I have to do is say the word cover crop. 00:18:06 If I say it to, and there's an audience of five farmers, four will say, that won't work here. 00:18:11 I think the first thing farmers should experiment with more, I had to pick one thing, is variable rate technology on their 00:18:16 seed and on their fertility. Yeah. Every square foot is different in the soil for, at least for us. And 00:18:22 You're, you're talking about it's really cost. It's really, it's really a cost maximization because you're, you're, 00:18:27 you're unnecessarily spending money in one area and not putting enough in another area. Absolutely. Huge cost savings. On, on VRT. 00:18:33 You wanna hear mine when I said I've got my answer? What more about most farmers experimentation? And it's not just about farmers, it's about everybody. 00:18:42 If you, most people don't like change no matter what industry they work in. And so if someone brings up this thing, we should try, 00:18:51 they're convinced it won't work because by God, that's not how we've ever done it. Alright, I'll try it. 00:18:56 And if that's the response, well all right, I'll try it then say don't, because you're gonna self-sabotage. 00:19:01 You're not committed to the experiment and there's nothing worse if you're not committed to doing it and really seeing if it'll work. 00:19:07 If you're not open-minded enough and willing to do that, then don't even bother because you're gonna self-sabotage. 00:19:12 Does that sound like something that, uh, happens in this industry and all industries? Yeah. Yes. You can't have a, 00:19:17 you can't have a preconceived notion going in because You're going to, you're gonna rig the results. Let's see what happens. You're gonna rig, 00:19:21 you're gonna rig the trial to, to, to attain the outcome. You are already convinced what happened. If 00:19:26 You really get with it, do the trial like in front of your house where you have to look at it or in front of your dad's house. 00:19:32 In front of your dad's house, where you have to look at it every day. 'cause you, one Time I planted 30,000 population gain in front 00:19:37 of my dad's house and he could see it out the front door. That, that might be the beast s**t 00:19:41 Guy. That might, I might have to add change list that, That's where I was going with it. I liked that. I liked that. 00:19:46 You're getting jean kinda wound up. Oh, It's like, did the planner quit? See, that would work for me. I, I don't know. How 00:19:54 Long are you gonna leave those like that? Well, I'm gonna leave them all summer down. Oh, Sometimes I do things just to get a reaction. 00:20:00 I don't know if you've ever noticed that. Alright, so I said where, uh, where I think farmer experimentation should 00:20:06 go, that they should be committed. If you're not gonna commit, if you're, if you're going to self-sabotage 00:20:10 and then convince yourself, I told you this wouldn't work, then why bother? Then you're just, then then you 00:20:14 Mean you, you gotta be committed. If you're not gonna be committed, just, just don't do it. I mean, do it at close to the shop. 00:20:19 Work your way away from the shop with all your trial work because, and keep track 00:20:22 of the data. Keep track of the data. My favorite experience that you did was going 00:21:10 to no applied nitrogen because we both believe you and I, that the future is going to be much more scrutinized and the future means now on nitrogen application. 00:21:20 And you said, I'm not gonna just cut back a few percent, I'm gonna cut back by like zero to a hundred percent 00:21:25 to 50%, whatever that was. You can't experiment On 10. Well, I mean, it's, it's just, it's just tough. You know? 00:23:02 It's, it, it's according to where you wanna be, you know, as a farmer where you wanna be. I mean, there's a lot of great farmers out there 00:23:07 that's doing fine and is content to where they was, right? And then there's a lot of farmers that's just coming up, 00:23:12 like, you know, I wanna know why, like me, that's the way I'm built. I wanna know why something works like it does. 00:23:17 Like, I wanna know why that cups around. Like, I wanna know why this tables are like, I wanna know why. 00:23:21 And so when you fit into that mold, like you gotta get outside the box as a little dab. You ain't gonna get anywhere. 00:23:26 Like you're just spinning your wheel. I'm not being mean, but there's a lot of, lot of farmers that are saying that they won't do it because of the money 00:23:33 and it's really because of the pride that they don't want to have something that all of a sudden the neighbors judge. 00:23:38 I really think there's as much of that. I think that's as big of a reason as the financials. Well, it's the failure. People are people, humans, 00:23:44 individuals are just scared of failure. Nobody wants to be right mean you can't be scared of failure. 00:23:48 You need to, you need to embrace it because you fail every day like you're failing something every day.
