No-Till Double-Crop soybeans planted behind soft red winter wheat. Wheat was harvested with a draper head. Product trials for Brandt, Nachurs, AgroLiquid, Concept Ag, Aproach Prima and Miravis Top.
Kevin ran 14 varieties of soybeans on his Cooleemee farm site this season. All were on Netafim subsurface drip irrigation. He planted on April 30th, but should have been planted earlier, at a population of 130,000. Kevin shares the yield data, solar radiation and precipitation data across growth stages.
Kevin releases his final 2020 trial data for Pivot Bio's Proven, a nitrogen producing microbial product, versus his untreated strips.
Kevin releases the final data from his 2020 Pioneer corn seed trials. He used 12 different hybrids ranging from 107 day through 119 day varieties on 22" row spacings. He also shares tracking data for precipitation, solar radiation and GDUs for each variety.
During the 2020 season, Kevin Matthews conducted a number of trials for Hefty Seed. The chart below presents the yield results from each of the varieties he trialed. It also contains the hybrids from other brands that he has used for comparison purposes.
