Alleviating Frost Damage in Wheat
Lee looks at some frost damage in his wheat crop and the difference between the damage in low and high moisture areas of his field. Lee talks about the recipe that he is using in his sprayer to alleviate the damage. He is using a mix of immune elicitors, PGRs and a few other additives to drive increased cell division and growth. Lee talks about his approach and the reasons why he is using the products he is using.
Keeping Sulfur levels up and plant height down
Keeping sulfur levels up in the wheat field is a challenge in Kelly's part of Iowa so he is putting a few additives into his fungicide pass, including a mix of potassium, sulfur and boron products from Agroliquid as well as a PGR from TEVA called ComPlex. The PGR keeps the plant shorter and better able to withstand late season lodging.

Flagleaf Wheat Foliar Package with PGR
Kelly is back in the wheat field putting on an AgXplore foliar package at the flag leaf stage. Included in the package is Boron to promote healthy cell tissue, sulfur to keep protein levels higher and a PGR called Onward that drives root growth and keeps the plant short in stature in order to prevent any late season lodging issues.
