The Multi-Function Adjuvant?
Chad is getting ready to spray and will be trialing a new adjuvant from Spraytec called Fulltec. Like a Swiss army knife of adjuvants, the multi-function spray adjuvant claims to be a drift retardant, a pH adjuster, a defoamer, a water conditioner, and a lot more at a low use rate. Chad is going to put it to the test and will check back in later this season with the results.
WEBINAR: ONE THING THIS SPRING

What's in Kelly's Wheat Foliar Application?
After getting the samples back from the lab, Kelly and Mike are applying a mix of stress mitigation, root stimulation, some biology, a micropack from Agroliquid and a few kelp products that they are trialing.
Upgrading Sprayer Pump Efficiency
Kevin is upgrading the pump on his Hagie with the Pentair Hypro's new ForceField Pump. The innovative new pump technology allows the operator to run the pump dry without worrying about damaging the seal. Simply put, that means Kevin can deploy his full spray tank without needing to leave residual for the pump. Less stoppage, more application acres and more efficiency. He talks to Pentair Hypro's pump specialist, Andy McNair, about the upgrade.
Nitrate Application on Wheat
Chad is spraying his wheat with Nitrate for the first time this season. He is using a new 6-stream nozzle from Pentair Hypro to put out a Solubor blend. He breaks it down in this video.
Perfecting Practices Learned in 2021
Kevin Matthews is always looking for a way to improve upon how he does what he does on his North Carolina farming operation. In 2021 he implemented changes in how he plants, how he sprays, and how he harvests. Looking ahead to crop year 2022, he discusses how he’ll perfect his newly implemented changes. Remember, if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten. And that simply won’t do for an XtremeAg producer!
How Long Do Spray Nozzles Last?
Worn spray nozzles can have a significant impact on the performance of your sprayer and ultimately the crop protection chemistry it is used to apply. How do you know when spray nozzles are worn and should be changed? How can you avoid the performance issues related to worn spray nozzles? And how long should we expect spray nozzles to last?
How Much Yield Are You Losing in the Turn Rows?
This is our first year where we operated two of our sprayers with all-wheel steering, and the difference in crop damage caused by sprayer tracks has been eye-opening, to say the least.
