Lee Lubbers bought this land 10 years ago after it had been used as a pasture for 1940's. After spraying it out, the buffalo grass roots made it nearly impossible to close a seed trench for the first three years.  But, Lee was committed to his no-till philosophy and no matter how tempting it was, he would not till the field.  The legend of Never-Till.
